What this website collects

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies of its own, and it doesn’t ask you to create an account.

Contact form and email

The contact form on this website doesn’t send your message to a server. It opens your own email app with the message filled in. When you press send, your email reaches our inbox at helpforhumankind@gmail.com. We use the details you give us only to respond to your enquiry or follow up on your offer to help.

Donations

Donations are made through a secure donation form provided by a third-party platform. It is embedded on our Donate page and also available at its own web address. When you donate, you enter your payment and contact details directly with that provider. This website does not see or store your payment details, and the provider’s own privacy practices apply to that form.

Hosting and other services

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to download them. The short documentary on our home page is hosted on Vimeo. Nothing loads from Vimeo until you press play; the player then loads from Vimeo with its “do not track” setting turned on, and Vimeo’s privacy policy applies. Our links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing helpforhumankind@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If how this website works changes, for example if we add a newsletter or analytics, we will update this page and the date above.
